Violin and Viola Boot Camp 2025

Ages: grades 2-5 (exceptions made with permission from the instructor)

Date/Time: June 23-30, 9am-12pm, $325

Violinists and violists who want to improve their skills over the summer are invited to this half-day camp! Campers will rehearse and perform a short concert during the camp week. All campers will improve their playing technique, learn new repertoire, and engage with their fellow campers to learn the joy of being part of a musical ensemble. This camp is designed not only to build a strong technical foundation for future growth but to help students develop good practice habits.

Students will need to provide their own violin and and a Kun or Everest shoulder pad. The following local shops rent string instruments and can measure for a good fit: Golden Violins, Mt. Airy Violins and Bows, Music and Arts


NEW! Chamber Music Camp 2025

Ages: Grade 3 and up, with minimum skill level of Suzuki Book 2 or equivalent

Date/Time: June 23-30, 1pm-3:30pm, $325

This program is for string players with intermediate to advanced skills who would like to learn the art of playing in a chamber group. Students will develop their listening skills, learning to play with a unified sound in an ensemble without a conductor. Students should submit a recording, no longer than five minutes in length, of them playing a scale and a piece that demonstrates their skill level. Music will be chosen and distributed in advance. Students should know their individual part well before camp begins. 


Children’s Musical Theater Camp 2025

Summer 2025 Dates: July 14-18

Half Day (9am-12pm): $325

Ages: Grades K-5

Note: Campers in Grade 4 and up may also register for our Musical Theater Dance and Movement Camp (click and scroll down) from 12:30-3:30 for an additional fee of $300. A bagged lunch is required.

Join us for a week of singing, performance, creativity, and fun! Campers will rehearse and perform a mini-musical during the camp week. All campers will improve their performance skills and learn about behind-the-scenes theatrical elements, all while engaging with their fellow cast-mates in a community-building experience!

This year’s show is Power Outage! What happens when the power goes out one Saturday and we can’t be on our screens? Find out when Grandma and Grandpa are in charge of entertaining the neighborhood kids in this wacky musical adventure.
